Casey Family Program

Casey Family Program

The destiny of all of us is, to a large extent, in the keeping of each of us

Casey Family Programs works in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and two territories and with more than a dozen tribal nations to influence long-lasting improvements to the safety and success of children, families and the communities where they live. Founded in 1966, we learn from and collaborate with communities at local, state, tribal and national levels to nurture the safety and success of every child.

We believe:

  • Every child deserves a safe, supportive and permanent family.
  • Every family should have the support of a strong and caring community.
  • Every community can create hope and opportunities for its children and families.
  • Everyone has a role to play in building Communities of Hope.

These core values shape the way Casey works, guiding organizational decisions and actions:

Diversity, Equity, Anti-Racism and Anti-Discrimination

Equity, Equality and Inclusion: We believe in the intrinsic dignity and value of every person. We strive for fairness and justice in the way people — our staff and our communities — are treated and the opportunities they have to succeed by addressing racism, inequitable treatment and other barriers to inclusion.

Innovation

Innovation: We embrace new ways of thinking, planning and acting that improve the impact and effectiveness of our work. We continuously learn from experience, each other, our partners and the communities we serve.

Relationships

Partnerships: We forge meaningful partnerships as the foundation of all of our work and use our positive influence to improve the lives of the children, families and communities we serve.

Stewardship

Stewardship: We are accountable and use our resources efficiently and effectively so that we may ensure Casey Family Programs will continue to improve the lives of children and families across the nation in perpetuity.
